Our funding helps to address some of the most difficult social issues. We also help those who care for heritage. Last year, we gave more than £16.9 million in grants.
The Water Lily Project is a registered Christian charity that predominantly supports vulnerable women in crisis. This may be a temporary crisis such as an acrimonious divorce, bereavement, illness etc. Or it could be something more long term such as mental health issues, self-harming, domestic violence and abuse, addiction or financial difficulties.
We are part of ‘Cycling Without Age’ a non-profit global initiative, founded in Copenhagen in 2012. England has a growing number of local chapters, many of which came about through the power of social media sharing. Each local chapter is run by volunteers with our guiding principles of generosity, slowness, storytelling, relationships and without age.
The aim of the project is to tackle extremism by ensuring there is a consistent approach to the services provided to victims of hate crime.
